ETS has one of the most advanced processes in place to help employers mitigate the risks associated with terminating an employee of concern. Each situation is different but in general we conduct a deep background check and social media activity sweep of the employee to be terminated prior to termination day to assess risk factors such as state of mind, access to weapons, prior weapons training, history of violence, drinking and/or drug use, etc. In addition, we review the physical layout of the location to better understand the ingress and egress points, pedestrian and vehicular traffic flow, and staff routines. We develop a complete termination strategy including the logistics and resources necessary to complete the termination and post-termination processes. Since 2009, ETS and has mitigated over 300 of these contentious situations for employers with a 100% success rate.
